Who You Are
You are a Manufacturing Engineer focusing on process improvements in our cable harness area and DTRL assembly area. You will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes, implementing improvements, and ensuring the highest level of efficiency, quality, and reliability.

THE WORK
- Analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
- Experience creating and maintaining comprehensive process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and design specifications for tooling and fixtures
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless implementation of process changes
- Developing and maintaining detailed process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training materials
- Conducting experiments and trials to validate process improvements and ensure compatibility with existing equipment and systems
- Providing technical support and guidance to production staff, including training and mentoring as needed

Desired Skills
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stretch in order to perform equipment maintenance and repairs
- Ability to walk up and down stairs, as well as stand for long periods of time, in order to access and troubleshoot equipment on the production floor
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or a related field
- Experience with data analytics and statistical process control
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards, such as IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 and MIL-STD-130
- Experience with automation and robotics
- Proficiency in CAD design tools, such as Creo or SolidWorks
