Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience in mechanical design, liquid cooling, and analysis in a hyperscale data center environment.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in mechanical engineering and design principles with specific expertise in the areas of design for medium-scale production, sheet metal and injection molding, structural and thermal analysis.
Experience in designing electro-mechanical assemblies with an understanding of mechanical tolerances and tolerance analysis.
Knowledge of chip, socket, cooling solution stack-ups, structural behavior, and reliability.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Design and own the entire product design life-cycle including requirements gathering, concept generation, detailed design with analysis, verification testing, cross-functional reviews, and manufacturing release.
Execute designs for systems backed by thorough engineering analysis.
Develop test plans, perform testing, and validate designs to meet engineering requirements and troubleshoot, root cause, and resolve potential technical issues.
Influence products and inform the technology road-map by providing mechanical and product design engineering expertise through data-driven decisions while identifying and scoping projects around innovation opportunities and technology risks.
Mentor team members and provide engineering knowledge.
