Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Network Analyst to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s network infrastructure. This role involves monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and managing complex projects involving the installation and upgrading of ISP services, phone systems, and local area networks (LANs).
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot network performance, availability, and reliability.
Maintain and support LAN, WAN, wireless networks, and related hardware/software infrastructure.
Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
Conduct network assessments and performance tuning to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with ISPs and telecom vendors to manage and optimize service delivery.
Lead and manage complex projects involving the installation and upgrading of ISP connections, business phone services (VoIP/PBX), and local network infrastructure.
Plan and execute network changes and upgrades with minimal downtime.
Provide technical support for network-related issues and work closely with help desk staff to resolve escalated issues.
Document network infrastructure, configurations, processes, and project plans.
Ensure network security by implementing and managing firewalls, security patches, and encryption protocols.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and security best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a network analyst or similar role.
Hands-on experience with VoIP systems and telecom infrastructure.
Proven experience in leading network installation/upgrade projects for ISP and phone services.
Familiarity with structured cabling and physical network infrastructure.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
Experience with network monitoring tools.
Familiarity with Azure environments.
Knowledge of ITIL best practices and service management.
Experience managing Unifi and Meraki networks.
Experience with surveillance and access control systems (Unifi, Rhombus, Verkada, etc.)

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

Working Conditions:
