Payroll Manager - Hospitality Industry (Confidential Company)
Tulsa, OK OR Fort Lauderdale - Onsite | Full-Time | $95,000-$115,000 DOE
We're seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee end-to-end payroll operations for a dynamic hospitality organization known for delivering exceptional guest and employee experiences. This role plays a vital part in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multi-state payroll functions.
What You'll Do
* Manage and process biweekly or semi-monthly payroll for both exempt and nonexempt employees.
* Oversee timekeeping, wage adjustments, garnishments, and payroll reporting.
* Ensure all payroll transactions comply with state and federal regulations.
* Partner with HR and Accounting to streamline processes, audit data, and reconcile payroll accounts.
* Lead year-end activities including W-2 distribution, tax filings, and audit support.
* Evaluate payroll systems and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
* Provide guidance to management and employees on payroll policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years of payroll experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of CA labor laws, multi-state payroll, and wage & hour compliance.
* Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, etc.).
* High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a solutions-driven mindset.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
