Job Title: Program Manager III

Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite with potential for hybrid)

Duration: 4-month CTH / high potential to extend or convert

Pay: Up to $70/hour DOE

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager III to lead and manage enterprise-level risk programs. This role will be instrumental in supporting the deployment of a new risk tool, ensuring timely resolution of risk events, and minimizing operational disruption across the organization. The Program Manager will work cross-functionally to establish milestones, track progress, and develop strategies for risk mitigation and recovery in response to disruptive incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead risk program initiatives, including the deployment of a new risk tool and ongoing management of risk events.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure program plans are aligned with business objectives and organizational goals.
• Facilitate program planning, prioritization, and execution by setting clear milestones and deliverables.
• Monitor program progress, conduct team meetings, escalate issues when needed, and maintain open communication with leadership and stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed program reports, updates, and presentations for senior management.
• Assign responsibilities, track accountability, and ensure timely task completion by project teams.
• Mentor and guide project team members, providing direction and training as needed.
• Identify growth opportunities and process improvements to strengthen organizational resilience and competitive advantage.
• Coordinate cross-departmental activities to ensure seamless execution and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Risk Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of program management experience, ideally in risk management, business operations, or IT-related programs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to hold teams accountable and drive results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex risk concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with risk management tools and IT systems is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated adaptability, creativity, and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
