The Program Manager will oversee a government logistics and provisioning effort, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of all program milestones. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with subcontractors, and collaborating with government stakeholders to meet operational objectives, including Initial Operational Capability (IOC) readiness. The Program Manager will lead efforts to develop logistics plans, maintenance strategies, and provisioning documentation while ensuring compliance with government and industry standards. This position requires travel up to 25%, including visits to client sites, partner facilities, and government locations.
Responsibilities
Program Oversight:
Direct all aspects of program execution to achieve IOC readiness and lifecycle sustainment.
Act as the primary interface between internal teams, subcontractors, and government stakeholders.
Deliverable Management
Manage the development of critical IOC deliverables, including:
Logistics Plan with tasks and methodology for operational availability.
Maintenance Planning Section.
Support and Test Equipment (S&TE) documentation.
Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) Lists.
Training Items Section.
Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T) Section.
Engineering Drawings for Provisioning (EDFP).
Ensure secondary deliverables, such as facilities planning, reliability and maintainability (R&M) documentation, and technical orders, are completed in accordance with established timelines.
Compliance And Quality Assurance
Ensure all deliverables adhere to applicable standards, including ANSI GEIA-STD-0007 and MIL-STD-1552.
Maintain accurate documentation to support government reviews and audits.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with government representatives to align program activities with mission requirements.
Work with Shield AI and other partners to gather necessary data and provide program recommendations.
Risk And Resource Management
Identify and mitigate risks related to logistics and provisioning activities.
Allocate resources effectively, including managing subcontractors for specific deliverables.
Travel Requirements
Conduct on-site visits up to 50% of the time, supporting coordination efforts at Shield AI facilities, government locations, and client sites.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, logistics planning, or government acquisition, with a strong understanding of government contracting processes.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deliverables.
Familiarity with ANSI GEIA-STD-0007, MIL-STD-1552, and related documentation standards.
Proficiency in resource management, risk mitigation, and quality assurance processes.
PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
Work Environment
The Program Manager will operate in a hybrid work environment with frequent travel to client sites, government facilities, and Shield AI locations. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative setting, coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.
