This role has a main focus on data analysis. It is ideal for someone who thrives on solving business problems with data — turning data into insights for decision-makers.

Primary responsibilities:


  • Support Supply Chain and Trade Compliance Data Collection and Mapping
  • Assist with Global Supply Chain analysis and identify cost improvement opportunities
  • Support trade compliance for inbound/outbound international shipments related to US operations
  • Assist buyers with RFQs and conducting cost comparisons, including packaging, price per unit and shipping costs to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Analyzing data and market trends to identify the potential for price increases and decreases
  • Assist buyers and Purchasing members with daily data management, and documentation as needed
  • Manage updates to Purchasing policies, procedures and electronic file management
  • Support other data analysis and key projects as needed



Ideal Candidate must have:


  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Access
  • MS Power Automate knowledge a plus
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to perform extremely detailed work with a high degree of accuracy
  • React with sense of urgency to solve problems and look for ways to improve operational inefficiencies



Education Background:


  • Supply Chain, Mathematics or Statistics Degree

Located in Plymouth, MI, TRAM, Inc. is a subsidiary company of Tokai-Rika Co. LTD, which is located in Nagoya, Japan. TRAM was founded in 1986 and currently employs 2,500+ people at our 5 locations.

We manufacture automotive components such as switch-related products (window regulators, headlights, cruise control, turn signals, multifunction and HVAC switches), security and safety-related products (shift levers, steering wheels, steering locks, seat belts, key cylinders, mechanical and remote keys).
