QA Engineer - Generative AI Experiences Software

Description

As a member of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a small team of highly skilled engineers to bring new, Generative-AI enabled experiences to Apple products. You will work with experienced engineers, designers, and machine learning experts to qualify and refine features that delight users as well as form a solid technical foundation for future development. In this position you will need to be self-directed, creative, and comfortable with change and ambiguity. Strong technical and interpersonal skills are all essential. nnnResponsibilities include: nu003cliu003eFunctional testing of experience features on iOS platform, sometimes across concurrent release vectors nu003cliu003eCreative manual testing nu003cliu003eDesign and implementation of test plans and test cases nu003cliu003eRisk analysis, cross-functional testing coordination, and integration testing across the system nu003cliu003eMaintain a qualitative, high level understanding of area of responsibility nu003cliu003eInvestigation and debugging on Unix based systems to triage difficult problems and work towards resolution

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of experience working in Software Quality AssurancenAn enthusiasm for user-focused design and shipping high-quality technologynCreative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detailnProven experience creating test plans for new products and featuresnPassion for debugging difficult problems and driving results with multi-functional teamsnExcellent communication skills to facilitate close interaction with development teams, management, and other organizations within ApplenCuriosity about new technologies, flexibility and openness to ambiguitynProficiency with iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS or similar operating systemsnB.S. in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $118,500 and $244,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.u003cbru003eu003cbru003eApple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
