The Receiving Packaging role receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within the Company Warehouse by performing the duties outlined below.
This is an on-site hourly position. Workdays and hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Overtime is required to meet the demands of the business.
Key Responsibilities

Receiving and unloading trucks using forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck, after being trained in safe operating practices.
Checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders.
Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated storage area.
Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate methods (marker or printed label).
Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
Assisting in counting of physical inventory.
Weighing and counting items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
Completing requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area in accordance with company safety policy requirements.
Other duties not listed above, but which fall in the scope of the employees position

Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma/Equivalent or 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment in lieu of education
Available to work any shift and/or overtime as needed
Skills And Competencies
Able to collaborate in a team setting
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Basic math skills to function in the role
Willingness to comply and support safety standards
Work Environment
This position works in a warehouse setting. Temperature is directly impacted by external weather conditions, and employee can be subject to extreme cold or extreme heat.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 60 pounds.
The employee is subject to hazards. Including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding or high places, exposure to high heat, or exposure to chemicals.
The employee is subject to atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
