Sales Development Representative Compensation: $50,000 Base Salary | $75,000 OTE (On-Target Earnings)
Job Overview:
A leading company in the healthcare and technology space is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support its Field Sales team. This role focuses on driving customer acquisition by engaging with medical and dental practices, helping them adopt digital payment solutions to improve financial performance. This is an outbound calling role with the primary goal of setting qualified appointments, not closing sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily outbound calls to healthcare practices nationwide to pitch the value proposition and schedule on-site or virtual meetings.
Work closely with Field Sales representatives to align outreach strategies and improve conversion rates.
Use marketing collateral and digital resources to nurture prospects.
Track and optimize performance against KPIs such as call volume, appointment goals, and call quality.
Engage with existing clients to generate referrals.
Provide feedback to improve processes and messaging.
Qualifications:
1–3 years of high-volume phone prospecting or inside sales experience.
Strong time management skills and self-motivation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable using video conferencing for presentations.
Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce a plus) and call automation tools.
Experience in healthcare, financial, or tech sales is a plus.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Additional Details:
Uncapped monthly commission structure.
