The Opportunity
This position is ideal for a former management consultant with deep experience in sales effectiveness, revenue transformation, and operating model design, who is ready to operate as a hands-on owner in a fast-paced, outcomes-driven environment. The role partners closely with the CCO, CFO, and Sales Leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Effectiveness, Strategy & Program Leadership
Act as an extension of the VP of Sales Operations, partnering closely on the design and execution of sales improvement programs.
Lead strategic Sales Operations initiatives that support revenue growth, GTM execution, and a scalable sales operating model.
Review, design, and optimize the sales operating model, sales capacity model, and territory/GTM approach in line with growth objectives.
Translate commercial strategy into clear operating rhythms, playbooks, and success metrics for Sales Leadership.
Reporting, Forecasting & Insights
Drive forecasting discipline by providing structured analysis, risk assessment, and performance insights to Sales Leadership and Finance.
Partner with Sales leaders to surface risks, opportunities, and corrective actions tied to revenue outcomes.
Support annual and quarterly planning cycles and board-level narratives.
Support BAU and ad hoc analyses, reporting, and executive presentations for Sales Leadership, including weekly C-suite reviews.
Continuously improve Salesforce data quality, reporting, and dashboards to support decision-making at scale.
Cross-Functional Execution & Enablement
Partner closely with Legal, Finance and Service to ensure smooth execution of sales processes and GTM initiatives.
Lead change management efforts for new processes, tools, and performance frameworks in a high-accountability environment.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across Sales and Revenue Leadership.
Pursuant to New York City's Pay Transparency Law the pay range for this position is $170,000- $190,000; base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in an analytical field such as Economics, Statistics, or Finance
3-5 years experience in management consulting, investment banking, or similar strategy / analytics / operations roles
Strong analytical problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
Strategic mindset and exceptional communication skills
Dependable and results-oriented with the ability to be deep in the details, but articulate the overarching themes and strategies across different audiences
High level of proficiency with analytical and presentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint); bonus points for familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python) and visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Omni)
Knowledge of Salesforce, admin certification a plus
