Our client is a leading NYC based Nonprofit/ Association. They are known for providing innovative solutions that serve the creative community on a global scale. The Technology team is seeking an ETL/Data Warehouse Tester to support the quality and reliability of enterprise applications here in New York City con a contract basis.

Job Title: ETL/Data Warehouse Tester

Location: Hybrid (Midtown NYC)

Contract: 6+ months (opportunity for extension or conversion) 40 hour work week.

Pay Rate: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour | W2 only

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with development and data teams to ensure high-quality delivery of ETL and data warehouse solutions
  • Design, execute, and document test scenarios for data pipelines, transformations, and batch processing
  • Validate accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data across multiple systems
  • Write and run SQL queries to verify data integrity and support test cases
  • Maintain test data sets and track defects, issues, and resolutions throughout the testing cycle
  • Support deployment and release testing activities to ensure smooth production rollouts

Qualifications

  • 7 or more years of experience in QA or software/data testing roles
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes, data integration, and data warehouse testing
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets for validation and verification
  • Experience testing batch jobs, data transformations, and file ingestion processes
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python) for test automation or data validation tasks
  • Understanding of Agile development practices and QA methodologies
