Senior Manager of Business Development, Corporate

I am partnering with my client, a leading global law firm, to identify an experienced and resourceful Manager or Senior Manager of Business Development Strategy to join their Strategy & Marketing Team. This role will support the continued growth of their Corporate and Finance practices and play a key role in developing and executing strategic business development and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, support, and implement business development initiatives to grow the firm’s client base and reputation.
• Advise lawyers on effective client pitch strategies.
• Conduct research and analysis; create compelling proposals and pitch materials.
• Manage strategic events and support lawyer submissions for directories and league tables.
• Collaborate across the firm to drive business growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in professional services or law firm business development.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Self-starter who can manage multiple high-visibility projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with legal-specific applications is a plus.
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.

Compensation:

• New York salary range: $150,000 – $230,000, dependent on experience and skills.
