The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $145,000, and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.

Senior Underwriter Duties

• Create and manage a profitable book of new and renewal business
• Prospect for new business by developing relationships with retail agents through e-mail, phone calls and personal visits
• Deliver quotes and binders to retail agents
• Remain up to date with new insurance companies' offers and how to leverage them
• Prospect for new business markets and / or lines to write
• Mentor and train new team members
• Assist in the day-to-day operations as required

• 3 - 5 years carrier or agency commercial lines underwriting experience
