This position requires an ambitious individual with strong analytical and creative problem solving skills who can contribute in a fast-paced, diverse team environment.

Description

In this role, the Software QA Automation Engineer will design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks and tools used to test consumer apps and services. This involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams of software developers, QA engineers, and project managers. Other responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing test results, maintaining databases for test cases, and reporting on the quality of features. Additionally, this position may require API testing and UI testing as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experiencenAutomation experience with high-level knowledge of modern scripting or compiled languages such as Python, Java, or SwiftnCapacity to define/design/develop/maintain test automation frameworks plus experience with Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Jenkins)nExpertise with Software Version Control systems like Git (GitHub/Gitlab)nExperience with API testing and familiarity with server architecturenProficiency with Xcode nKnowledge of the software development lifecycle and SQA methodologiesnCapability to investigate problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose a resolutionnDemonstrated ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.u003cbru003eu003cbru003eApple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
