About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sr. SQL Server Database Administrator to manage and optimize critical database systems. This role involves advanced-level expertise in SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and high availability solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer SQL Server databases across Production, Test, and Development environments.
• Manage installations, upgrades, patches, backups, recovery, and security.
• Configure and maintain Always On High Availability Groups.
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting for complex database systems.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans.
• Support application teams with database enhancements and migrations.
• Automate operational jobs and batch data loads.
• Work with Cohesity Backup Appliance and cloud technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years hands-on experience with SQL Server administration, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
• Expertise in Always On High Availability, clustering, and T-SQL programming.
• Strong knowledge of migrations, space management, and capacity planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems and SQL Server environments.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field AND 7+ years of relevant experience.
