The Village School Sports Performance Department is now accepting applications for Strength and Conditioning interns for the 2026 Spring semester. The intern will assist in the implementation of strength and conditioning programs, provide guidance and support to student-athletes, and monitor their progress. The intern will also assist the Strength Staff in all aspects of developing and implementing strength, speed/agility, conditioning, flexibility, mobility, and recovery protocols for 18 boys and girls athletic programs. Daily tasks include setting up training sessions, ensuring proper technique and safety, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with coaching staff to optimize performance and prevent injuries. These positions will include a small stipend.
Qualifications
Knowledge of strength and conditioning principles and techniques
Ability to provide guidance and support to student-athletes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with coaching staff
CPR/AED and First Aid certification is a plus
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
Pursuing a NSCA CSCS certification
