What do you do?

• Lead the development and growth of a profitable underwriting program in your specialty area
• Cultivate and expand broker relationships across key markets to drive new submissions and renewals
• Design coverage strategies, pricing models, and risk appetites aligned with company objectives
• Partner with internal stakeholders (claims, actuarial, ops) to ensure sound underwriting discipline
• Analyze performance metrics, loss ratios, and GWP growth to refine underwriting strategy
• Represent the company in the marketplace as a trusted, forward-thinking underwriting leader

What do you need?

• 10+ years’ underwriting experience with proven track record of building profitable books of business
• Established and active broker network with strong industry relationships
• Entrepreneurial mindset — thrives in a build-from-scratch, high-trust environment
• Demonstrated ability to grow Gross Written Premium (GWP) and maintain underwriting profitability
• Strong market knowledge in one or more commercial lines (ideally Cyber)
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
• The drive to create and own something meaningful in the specialty insurance landscape
