Role: Technical Support Specialist

Location: Dallas, TX

Office: Fully onsite near Galleria area

Full Time Position

Salary: $65,000-70,000

We are seeking a skilled Systems Technician to support and maintain the company’s computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure. This full-time role is ideal for an IT professional with strong technical troubleshooting abilities and a commitment to ensuring smooth, secure, and efficient daily operations. The successful candidate will install and configure hardware, monitor system performance, resolve technical issues, and provide hands-on support to end users across the organization. This position may require occasional travel to company sites for hardware deployment or troubleshooting needs.


Key Responsibilities:


Systems Administration & Maintenance:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, servers, and networking equipment.
  • Monitor system performance and conduct routine maintenance, updates, and patches.
  • Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and technology deployments.
  • Manage data backups, recovery processes, and support disaster recovery planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for system configurations, updates, and procedures.


Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Provide timely technical support to end users for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and business applications.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and data protection practices.


Collaboration & Vendor Support:

  • Work closely with IT team members to support company-wide technology needs.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to resolve complex issues and coordinate equipment or software repairs.
  • Support IT asset management and contribute to continual service improvement initiatives.


Working Conditions:

  • Work performed in an office and technical environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required for equipment installation, maintenance, or support.
  • Must be able to lift and transport computer equipment (up to 40 lbs.) when needed.
  • May require occasional evening or weekend work during system updates or issue resolution.


Qualifications:


  • 1-3 years of tech support experience
  • Active Directory
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified Professional.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with IT asset management and ticketing systems.
