The Training Manager will lead the technical training strategy and execution across the existing service network. This role is essential in ensuring that Dealers in the US and Canada, their technicians and key partners are equipped with the right skills, tools, and knowledge to deliver high-quality service aligned with global standards.
As Training Manager, you will design and implement training programs, manage learning resources, and build instructional capability across the network. You will also be responsible for supporting technical content creation and field-facing learning initiatives that drive operational excellence. Currently there is a train the trainer concept, where you often work with our 9 distributors and train them, who later train dealers.
What You’ll Be Doing
Assess training needs across the dealer network and create scalable, targeted learning solutions.
Deliver and manage technical training across the company’s product portfolio—including diesel engines and electrification—aimed at improving service quality and technical performance.
Develop training materials, assessments, and digital learning tools to modernize and enhance training delivery.
Monitor dealer participation, certification progress, and overall technical readiness for new product launches.
Lead major learning initiatives such as the annual Train-the-Trainer program and the Technical Support Seminar to strengthen dealer capability across North America.
Produce and maintain training assets including troubleshooting guides, instructional videos, and technical bulletins.
Support the U.S. After Sales team with technical knowledge management, issue tracking within the failure-handling system, and continuous improvement of support resources.
Candidate Profile
Strong experience in technical training or instructional delivery, ideally within the heavy-duty equipment or engine sector.
Solid technical knowledge of the company’s products and systems—or equivalent experience with other OEM platforms.
Skilled in instructional design, facilitation, and training strategy development.
Highly organized, structured, and capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholders at once.
Proficient with digital training tools, Microsoft Office, and common LMS platforms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Able to adapt training approaches to various learner types and experience levels.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma required; relevant technical certifications or post-secondary education preferred.
Proven experience in training program delivery, technical field support, or after-sales enablement.
Additional Requirements
