Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a largr, Irvine-based law firm seeking a full-time Litigation Legal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support within a busy Trial department. This non-exempt role supports legal secretaries and attorneys, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. The position requires onsite attendance five days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage itineraries and process, submit, and reconcile expense reports; assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoice processing.
  • Support monthly client billing, including monitoring attorney pre-bills and routing them to appropriate timekeepers.
  • Provide coverage for legal secretaries during absences.
  • Answer and direct phone calls; take messages; manage incoming/outgoing emails, correspondence, memos, letters, and faxes.
  • Organize and schedule appointments; manage calendars for multiple attorneys; coordinate internal and external meetings and events.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintain well-organized digital and physical filing systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist legal assistants with administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience as an office assistant or in a similar administrative role preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
