Overview

We’re looking for a highly skilled UX Designer to join our empowered, cross-functional product team and help shape the future of our industry through AI-driven transformation. In this role, you’ll design intuitive, user-centered product experiences that delight customers and solve complex problems with simple, elegant solutions. You’ll play a critical part in defining the end-to-end product experience, from early discovery through polished, production-ready interfaces.

This role is ideal for a designer who is excited about the possibilities of AI, thrives in fast-paced SaaS environments, and brings a strong balance of visual design, UX strategy, and hands-on execution.

Please note that this is a hybrid role, and you must be located within a commutable distance to our office in Redwood City, CA. We work in the office a minimum 3 days per week.

Outcomes You'll Produce

• Establish clear UX ownership and consistent design patterns across all HOAi features
• Partner deeply with Product and Engineering to embed design earlier in discovery and delivery
• Reduce design and usability friction in existing HOAi workflows
• Design and ship new HOAi capabilities that scale with increasing product complexity
• Enable the broader Vantaca design team to remain focused on core platform priorities

What You'll Do

• Design intuitive product experiences grounded in user-driven discovery, research, and validation.
• Solve complex problems by delivering simple, elegant, and scalable design solutions.
• Create visually compelling, high-quality end-state designs that raise the bar for product excellence.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and QA in an Empowered Team environment to define, build, and ship impactful features.
• Produce all design assets, including wireframes, user flows, medium- and high-fidelity mockups, clickable prototypes, and refined UI deliverables.
• Iterate quickly, incorporating insights from users, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to refine and improve product experiences.
• Explore and leverage emerging AI-driven design processes and technologies, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and bringing innovative approaches to product development.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• High proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, design systems, collaborative workflows, auto-layout, and interactive prototypes.
• Experience with user-centered design methodologies, such as UX research, customer discovery interviews, functional prototyping, and usability testing.
• Foundational understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Tailwind) and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers.
• Comfort moving beyond traditional visual design workflows by using AI-assisted design processes and working directly in the codebase to accelerate design-to-engineering handoff and improve build fidelity.
• 5+ years of experience designing digital products in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environments.
• Exceptional communication skills, empathy for users, and a passion for building products that deliver real impact.
• A growth mindset and curiosity about emerging technologies, especially in the field of AI, and how they can enhance both product outcomes and the design process.
