Role and Responsibilities

Sitting within Consello’s Advisory business, the Vice President (VP) will be a key member of the team. The VP will direct research, drive strategy, produce content and deliver recommendations on a diverse set of client engagements. The VP will manage client teams under the direction of the Consello senior leadership team and be responsible for client satisfaction, deliverables and tangible/measurable results. The VP will contribute to new business networking and activities with a goal of helping grow Consello’s business.


Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as an industry expert and advisor for clients, while helping take them through transformation and growth. Pull from data and prior experiences to deliver best-in-class transformation/modernization solutions with a keen eye on digital growth.
  • Lead cross-functional, high-impact projects as directed by the client and client lead.
  • Provide hands-on support internally, work with client teams, and identify potential opportunities that yield strong financial returns.
  • Manage and complete successful implementation of strategic initiatives that enable revenue growth and accelerate company profitability and efficiency for Consello’s customer base.
  • Determine, track, and report metrics that measure the successful implementation of various strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Provide industry and functional expertise for senior leadership and monitor performance to ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Implement efficient and scalable processes and systems to help build a category leading platform on a global scale.
  • Represent Consello Group in the market and be an evangelist for the brand and broader platform.


Professional Qualifications

  • Track record of success within strategy consulting; a mix of consulting plus operating experience within a company is highly desired but not required. Consulting and/or operating experience with public companies is highly preferred.
  • Industry expertise in relevant growth sectors including digitally-native Consumer Businesses, eCommerce, Retail, Consumer Technology, and Enterprise sales experience and/or business development experience with enterprise relationships
  • Industry expertise in payments (including crypto/stablecoin/blockchain), banking (excluding investment banking), tech service and exposure to AI , customer acquisition and activation in the financial services industry
  • Experience working on strategic projects across the full breadth of the consumer value chain.
  • Highly developed analytical skills with ability to define issues, collect and analyze pertinent data, identify alternative solutions, propose sound recommendations, and execute on a solidified plan of action; attention to detail is critical.
  • Strong commercial orientation; proven ability to systematically and rapidly diagnose the opportunities and challenges facing a business, set strategy, decide on a course of action, then enroll and mobilize the organization to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Exceptional reputation in the market with a strong following and an ability to strategically utilize existing relationships while simultaneously developing net new ones.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Compensation: Base salary starting at $200,000; eligible for annual discretionary bonus
