Our home tech client is seeking a Photo and Video Producer to support their growing creative and marketing teams. This role is primarily remote, but the ability to occasionally work onsite in the Los Angeles area is a plus.
Weekly workload is variable based on project needs, but would likely start around 10-20 hours/week.
The ideal producer brings strong post-production skills, comfort working with existing footage, and the ability to manage light pre-production coordination. Experience capturing social content or UGC style footage is a plus, as is the ability to support project management tasks that help keep work moving smoothly.
Key Responsibilities: - Edit and adapt existing video and photo assets for use across digital, social, and paid channels. - Cut down footage, build simple edits, and create short form content that aligns with brand guidelines. - Coordinate light pre production planning such as gathering assets, confirming shot lists, and preparing project briefs. - Support occasional onsite shoots in the Los Angeles area including UGC style content capture, basic videography, or still photography as needed. - Collaborate with external creators or UGC partners, ensuring they have clear direction and deliverables. - Manage and track projects through post production workflows, working closely with creative leads and cross functional partners. - Maintain organized file structures, asset libraries, and documentation to ensure smooth handoffs. - Contribute to quality control, ensuring all deliverables meet brand standards and technical requirements.
Qualifications: - 3-5+ years of experience in photo and video production or a similar creative role. - Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro along with general post production workflows. - Ability to work with existing footage to produce quick turn edits, adaptations, and social cuts. - Experience supporting small shoots, including basic videography or still capture, is a plus. - Familiarity with pre-production coordination such as scheduling, asset gathering, and shot list organization. - Strong project management capabilities with the ability to keep multiple deliverables on track. - Comfortable collaborating with external creators or UGC contributors. - Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication. - Bonus skills: camera operation experience or the ability to act as a Swiss army knife on set.
