Your job is to determine which one best fits what the organization needs. Let's explore the types of employment relationships together. You're most likely familiar with the employer-employee relationship. An employer makes a job offer, the candidate accepts, and there you have it. The candidate becomes an employee. In most jurisdictions, the employment relationship is governed by the employment at will principle. The at will employment relationship means that an employer can terminate employment at any time with or without cause as long as it's not an illegal cause.
