- When I watch a movie shot by my film making heroes, it seems that almost every frame could be printed and framed. That's what we all should be aiming for. Most low budget films effectively look low budget because directors don't plan their shots in advance or because their goals don't match the resources available. As we have seen throughout this course, there's a lot we can do to extract the most out of every situation without having a large crew or a Hollywood budget. Understanding how to frame each shot, what to include and exclude, and how to enhance the previous and following frame is our job as film makers.
