Collapsible containers to show or hide elements
- [Instructor] Space is always a premium on any dashboard that you create. It doesn't matter whether it's a big dashboard, small dashboard, there's always never enough room. It's just one of the things that we have to deal with. But it's quite a cool tool that we can use to enable objects to appear and disappear depending on what we need them to do. To do that, we use this idea of collapsible containers. Now what they are is a container that we can put any object in. It could be a chart, it could be filters, parameters, legends, whatever we like. And we can create a button to show that container and hide that container. So if we don't need to see it, it doesn't need to be there. So I'm going to show you how this works both with filters, and we'll also do it with one of the sheets and see how else it could work. So in this dashboard, I've got four sheets, and on the right hand side I've got a container that's got legends for my sheets. And you'll see that at the bottom of that pane…
