- [Instructor] Unlike filter actions that remove data from our view, highlight actions doesn't remove it, but it highlights it to show us interesting things within the data. Now to create a highlight action, we have to add it from the dashboard menu. Now, the process of highlighting data works because we are able to select a mark in one sheet and then highlights the corresponding charts and highlights the marks that correspond to that particular piece of data. So let's have a look at this in action. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to use the segment sales as a highlight action. What I want to be able to do is select one of the three bars for either one of my categories, and I want to see that highlighted elsewhere in my dashboard.
