Use visual aids in presentations

- Visuals are a great way to enhance a presentation. Giving the audience something to look at will help them connect with your content, and more importantly, remember your presentation after you've left the platform. Whenever you can, consider including a visual aid in your presentation. Now, it's called a visual aid because it should aid, or help the audience understand your content, and shouldn't be the primary focus of your presentation. And it's purpose shouldn't be to remind you of what you want to say. Slides are not speaker's notes. Avoid putting a lot of content on your slide. If the audience can read most of what you're sharing, why should they listen to you? Plus, if you put a bunch of information on your slides, you'll probably have to look back at them to make sure that you've covered everything. And this means instead of making eye contact with your audience, you're looking back at the slide. If you do need to glance back at your slide, try to do this in a subtle way…
