- [Narrator] Recognizing the value of discounting cash flows and knowing how to discount cash flows in a variety of situations are important parts of being a business leader and executive, looking to make sound and profitable business decisions. After taking this course, you are ready to model discounted cash flows, net present values, internal rates of return, and weighted average costs of capital. We've explored these concepts together, DCF, NPV, IRR, and WAC and you've seen how to calculate them in a step-by-step process. With this newfound knowledge, you should be able to perform these calculations in Excel using the formulas I've shared.
