- Are you nervous about presenting? Well, even most seasoned speakers get nervous when they're about to give a presentation. That's normal. And the best way to handle presentation jitters is by being prepared, and it's a process. And the more time you have to get ready, the better. In this video, I'll cover a few personal techniques to help you perform your best and a few tips on technical preparation. I've organized this into a countdown, one week before, one day before, and the day of your presentation. One week before your presentation, practice in front of the mirror, in a video, and for your friends and family. Memorize your first sentence, and make note cards for your major talking points. Practicing is less about memorizing and more about feeling comfortable so your personality comes through. Now the audience feels better if you're confident and appear at ease.
