- Some people have a great relationship with learning. Learning is their friend, and their life companion, but others might remember an unhappy experience in school or in college and then determine at some point that learning just wasn't fun for them. We each have our own learning journey, a series of visits to different lands of learning, the land of language, the land of math, medicine, if you're in the health field. As someone leading in your organization, you have visited the learning land of management probably many times. Sometimes you visit a land of learning, and you're not especially excited. It doesn't grab you, but other times you arrive in a particular land of learning, you suddenly find yourself transported. Standing in a place that excites you, inspires you, and motivates you to learn more and more. The same is true of the employees on your team.
