Agile approach is mostly used
- The last hybrid I'm covering in this course is one where an agile approach is a major contributor, yet the team has not yet reached the point where they're getting all of the potential benefits of agile. In my experience, this is where the vast majority of agile teams are with respect to the spectrum. I often get into discussions with project managers, team members, or even the team's scrum after, and that goes like this. I ask, "Are you using agile?" The reply is, "Yes." "Great. Are you getting fast feedback?" "Well, sort of. Sometimes we have to wait." "Oh, okay. Do you have a product owner?" "Sort of. We have a few subject matter experts from the business area that fill the role." So they're not able to be responsive, and I imagine they don't always agree. Yes to both. Do you regularly have carry-over work? Stories you start in one sprint and finish in another? Yes, we do. Are you working on more than one project at a time? Yes.
