- You can't lead effectively in the future with the same mindset and skillset you had yesterday. Staying relevant in today's marketplace isn't a one-time achievement. It's a daily decision to grow, learn, stretch, and reinvent yourself. How are you currently reinventing yourself? Consider some of these tips that worked for me as I continue to learn, grow, and become a better leader. First, stay curious, expand your mind. One of the greatest gifts you can give yourself is exposure to new ideas, new people, new places, and new ways of thinking. Second, reassess your goals. Goals that were relevant five years ago or even last year, may no longer serve where you're headed. I call this checking your GPS, your Growth Positioning Strategy.
