Overcoming your fear of failure
- No one likes to fail, and I'm sure you don't either. Not only is it disappointing, but it may bring out your worst fears about yourself. You really aren't good enough, smart enough, or ready enough. And if that failure is a public one, you may also feel humiliated, maybe a little ashamed. Failure and all of the negatives that go with it make you afraid of it. And unfortunately, a fear of failure may make you less willing to take risks. This is a problem, because risk taking is essential to your success. In this lesson, you're going to learn how to overcome your fear of failure in order to take more risks. But first, I want to help uncover a hidden influence that impacts how you perceive failure. Your gender. Failure is perceived very differently by men and women.
