- As gatekeepers get sharper, as people work from home more often and as technology solutions come in to help filter out cold calls, cold emails are becoming more and more valuable. Now, first things first, I'm always an advocate of not hiding behind emails. You should be making a cold call before a cold email every single time. However cold calls don't always work and sometimes a cold email can be more effective use of your time. So for this week, I want to give you all of my tips on a successful cold email. Firstly, keep them clear and concise, preferably short. Not only are the prospects busy and rushing but we as humans have an incredibly short attention span. Which is even shorter if it's something we don't know about from some one we don't know about. So make it a few lines, that's two to five sentences at most no big paragraphs and straight to the point. Which brings me to my second, have a good email subject.…
