- You can cook the most delectable meal in the world, but if it looks sloppy in the plate, no one's going to be impressed. The same holds true for your homemade sound bites. We just discussed how to craft them beautifully, but if you deliver them in a clumsy way, they're going to fall flat. Sound bites should not come across too scripted or sound like you've rehearsed them in the mirror all morning. Delivering them with subtlety and finesse is every bit as important as the creation of the soundbite itself. The first strategy for great delivery has to do with placement where the soundbite comes in, your answer makes a big difference. Being too eager and blurting it out at the very beginning of your answer doesn't make it feel natural or authentic.
