- [Instructor] Beyond the expected differences in language and culture, other countries may also have different technological constraints that you need to keep in mind when planning your international user research efforts. Companies that develop digital products are often based in big cities with extensive technology resources. As such, you may be used to Gigabit-Plus data connections, pervasive WiFi, and solid mobile data wherever you live. You often see people carrying the latest iPhone and Android devices, along with laptops with the highest of screen resolutions. Before a team develops a new technology for an international audience, they should do their homework and figure out what kind of technology potential users are likely using within a given target country.
