Vice President at Northrop Grumman

As initiatives like Golden Dome for America gain momentum, they open the door to a transformative shift in our national defense landscape. At Northrop Grumman, we are uniquely positioned to lead on integrated, layered homeland defense. Our expertise spans the architectural elements required for comprehensive defense systems, shaping solutions that support every mission in every orbit. We take pride in our role as a trusted provider of both high-altitude OPIR strategic missile warning with Next-Gen Polar as well as the tactical edge with Space Development Agency’s Transport and Tracking Layer programs. Our experience, however, extends beyond building sophisticated systems and advanced technologies; it encompasses decades of in-depth, mission-focused understanding. In a world where threats continue to evolve, blending cutting-edge technology with comprehensive operational and architectural understanding is not just advantageous — it’s essential for national defense. Achieving Golden Dome’s vision of an integrated, layered homeland defense system demands not only collective ingenuity but also successful integration across sensing, communications, interceptor, and battle management. The complexity of this endeavor necessitates collaboration among various partners to ensure each layer of the defense system operates in harmony. Our robust and diverse supplier base and close industry partnerships are testaments to our commitment and readiness. At Northrop Grumman, we are delivering end-to-end solutions that align seamlessly with the objectives of Golden Dome. By combining proven satellite technology with advanced cybersecurity and a legacy of innovation, we are actively shaping the future of defense. Our decades of leadership in ground systems for missile warning and tracking and space domain awareness bolster our extensive mission understanding. After all, space superiority begins and ends on the ground, and Northrop Grumman ground systems capabilities are connecting all domains from Earth to orbit with real-time intelligence for real-time decision making. Our track record speaks volumes. We are paving the way for sustainable, interoperable defense systems and proudly stand as the nation’s only provider of operational missile warning payloads on-orbit today. Golden Dome endeavors to redefine our national defense, and we are ready to serve a crucial role. We’re not just envisioning the future of defense — we're creating it.

Very good summary of what NG can bring to the table for GDA but for it to work it will need to have the capabilities of LM and RTX along with numerous small businesses stitched together to make a holistic system that operates across all of the interfaces seamlessly and that challenge is not technical but a matter that is far harder to solve.
