This National Pharmacy Month, we’re celebrating Julie—our dedicated pharmacy manager whose journey with Publix began in 1998 as a cashier at Store 584 in Tampa. Julie’s passion for pharmacy comes from her love of connecting with patients and making a real impact in their lives, treating each one like family and sharing in their milestones. Despite challenges like medication shortages and ever-changing guidelines, Julie’s motivation comes from her family—John, Aurelia, Verity, her mom Liz, and their dogs Moxie and Marti. Inspired by her mom’s determination, Julie lives by the motto: “If it’s not going to matter 100 years from now, don’t stress about it now.” From cashier to pharmacy manager, Julie’s journey is a testament to hard work, compassion, and the support of her amazing pharmacy team.
