✨ Grateful and Proud Moment ✨ This week, I had the opportunity to represent the General Education faculty during The College of Westchester’s Preliminary Team Chair Visit with Dr. Olga Rivera Velazco as part of our upcoming MSCHE reaccreditation process. It was such a meaningful experience to be part of this conversation, one that highlights our college’s commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration, and student success. I was especially honored to bring both my faculty and alumni perspectives to the table and to see firsthand how CW continues to grow while staying true to its mission. I’m especially grateful for the leadership and mentorship of Dr. Erica Schacht who continues to believe in me and ensure I have a seat at the table, in rooms with leaders I deeply respect and admire. Having someone who not only recognizes your potential but also creates space for your voice is something I’ll never take for granted.
