"True progress depends on coherence: the deliberate alignment of policy, practice, and partnerships into a connected ecosystem that supports students through every transition from classroom to career." With so many eyes on Washington, D.C., it can be hard to remember that there is fantastic work going on at the state level. If you haven't had a chance yet, I highly recommend checking out #Kentucky's Prichard Committee report on building a more meaningful diploma. Some pieces to be sure to check out: - Measures of mobility (p. 18) - Policy recommendations (start on p. 20) The report is very well written and grounded in both Kentucky data and national level analysis about the state of education and the economy.
