Jason Cairns’ Post

I had a great time last week at the Advanced ADR Conference hosted by TexasBarCLE and the State Bar of Texas ADR Section. For me, the highlight of conferences is finally connecting in person with colleagues I’ve previously known only through Zoom or LinkedIn. Screens are efficient, but there’s simply no substitute for meeting face-to-face. I picked up some great insights from the panelists. If you’re a mediator or arbitrator who couldn’t make it, I highly recommend catching the webcast.

"mediator or arbitrator" What about a partner that doesn't handle conflict resolution with their partner well? Does the Alternative Dispute Resolution conference help with that persona and use case?

We’re so glad you joined us and enjoyed the program! It was a pleasure bringing together the ADR community with the State Bar of Texas ADR Section, and you’re absolutely right—there’s nothing quite like connecting face-to-face with colleagues!

Thanks Jason! It was a pleasure meeting you. I hope you get more involved in the Section for potential leadership positions.
