KPMG’s latest Pulse of Private Equity report shows that private equity investment in the EMEA region remains strong in 2025 — approaching last year’s annual total despite softer deal volumes. “From a Nordic perspective, private equity activity has shown a notable recovery in 2025 after a dip in 2024, with deal volumes rising but still below the record levels of 2021–2022. KPMG’s latest "Pulse of Private Equity" report shows that private equity investment in the EMEA region remains strong in 2025, approaching last year’s annual total despite softer deal volumes. Q3 2025 saw announced PE deal value in the region rise to USD 178 billion, well ahead of the same quarter last year (USD 145 billion), highlighting renewed investor confidence. 💡 Baltic PE & VC market: slower pace, but solid fundamentals KPMG Baltics released its Q3 2025 M&A, PE & VC Deals Overview, and the numbers paint a familiar picture - deal activity is cooling, but opportunities are still out there. 🔹 PE deals: Down ~35% vs last year (around 30 deals in 12 months) 🔹 M&A: Slight dip of ~3% compared to 2024 🔹 What’s holding strong: IT and consumer sectors are leading the way, while B2B services slowed by ~33% Despite the quieter market, we’re seeing continued investor interest in Baltic innovation and cross-border opportunities - a good reminder that this ecosystem is resilient and still full of potential.
