📣 Call for nominations: Arlington National Cemetery is currently seeking nominations for appointments to the Advisory Committee on Arlington National Cemetery (ACANC). The ACANC is an independent Federal Advisory Committee chartered to provide the Secretary of Defense, through the Secretary of the Army, independent advice and recommendations on ANC, including, but not limited to cemetery administration, the erection of memorials at the cemetery and master planning for the cemetery. Membership will consist of individuals with expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: bereavement practices and administrative oversight, organizational management, veterans' services, memorial erection and master planning for extending the life of a cemetery. All nominations must be received no later than July 1, 2025.
