Ascension’s Post

We appreciate President Eduardo Conrado's leadership in underscoring the urgent need to preserve healthcare tax credits that help millions of individuals and families maintain access to affordable coverage.

The end of the federal government shutdown brings relief for many whose lives and livelihoods were disrupted. But there is still more to do. Congress must find a lasting solution to preserve healthcare tax credits that help millions of Americans afford coverage. If these credits expire in 2026, more than 20 million people could face higher premiums or lose access to care. This is not about politics. It is about people. It is about making sure families can stay healthy, avoid medical debt, and continue receiving the care they need. Now is the time for leaders to come together and provide stability for families, strengthen the healthcare system, and build a healthier future for all.

Clarity and courage—two essentials for transformation. Thank you for naming both with such strength
