New Opportunity – Medical Director – Mercer Island, WA Opened in late 2022, the hospital operates with a “say yes” philosophy while maintaining high clinical standards, making it an excellent environment for a Medical Director who enjoys balancing leadership with hands-on clinical practice. You’ll inherit a stable team of two DVMs (each with several years of experience), supported by a licensed technician, five assistants, a dedicated scribe service, and a hospital director who collaborates closely on culture, workflow, and team development. With active hiring for additional support staff and a third DVM planned for the new year, this is a hospital genuinely committed to smart, sustainable growth. You’ll have access to a fully equipped facility, including four exam rooms, a sterile surgical suite, a dedicated dental area with digital dental radiography and fast-scan ultrasound, two fully stocked anesthetic carts, in-house labs, and modern surgical equipment, including a heated table and updated monitoring systems.
