I had the privilege of participating in my first Atlanta Regional Commission LINK trip, this year to the DMV region, an experience that was both enlightening and energizing. Thanks to the thoughtful planning and leadership of Mayor Andre Dickens and ARC CEO Anna Roach , our group of 120+ civic, business, and nonprofit leaders had the opportunity to engage deeply with leaders and communities across the suburbs of Maryland and Virginia. Over the course of our visit, we explored key regional challenges and opportunities, ranging from transportation infrastructure and water management, to housing insecurity, the rapid expansion of data centers, and the broader theme of regionalism. The conversations were rich, candid, and collaborative. What stood out most was the spirit of collective problem-solving, a reminder of the power of regional partnerships to drive meaningful progress. I left with a deeper understanding of how other regions are navigating complex issues and with renewed appreciation for Atlanta and the incredible leaders shaping its future. I had a special treat seeing my friends Brian Kenner and Evan Regan-Levine 😊 #ARC #LINKTrip #RegionalLeadership #Atlanta #Collaboration #CivicEngagement #ATL #Freindships
