🚀 Crash Test Simulation – Chassis vs Concrete Wall (Ansys 2023) I carried out an explicit dynamic simulation to study the behavior of a tubular chassis during a frontal impact against a concrete wall, at an impact speed of 100 m/s (≈ 360 km/h). 🔹 Software: ANSYS 🔹 Analysis type: Explicit dynamics (high-speed impact) 🔹 Scenario: Chassis colliding with a rigid concrete wall (wall modeled as quasi-rigid / reinforced concrete depending on assumptions) ✅ Objectives: Evaluate the distribution of equivalent strains, energy concentration zones, and potential failure points. Assess the chassis’ energy absorption capacity when facing a highly rigid obstacle. Identify possible structural improvements to increase safety and crash resistance. 💡 Practical interest: this type of study helps anticipate failure modes, optimize geometry and joints, and reduce costly physical testing. #Ansys #Simulation #CrashTest #CAE #FEM #Concrete #MechanicalEngineering

You should put boundries under the car or limit it because it dosent make sense that a car would be displaced greatly in the -z direction, in this case because the floor would stop it from doing that. Correct me if I am wrong
