Caleb Cares piloted Caleb Williams's custom meditations with students from Washington Jesuit Academy in Washington, DC. The impact was immediate. Next step, a study followed by getting Caleb's VR Meditation Programs into schools. Mental health is real. Caleb Cares is working to make talking about it normal.
So before the meditation started, I was stressed because. You know, having a lot of schoolwork and not finding time to do it, but now I feel calm and like I feel like I could actually think and figure out what I want to do. Alright guys. So it's an exciting day today. We've had this great partnership with Caleb Cares and you guys are going to be the first ones to see these, the first meditation video on these VR headsets. Something I learned myself to this experience is that I don't have to overthink everything and I can just think positive. The power of meditation. Before we meditate, I want to briefly explain why we meditate like most people. Our students have just so many things going on at home here at school, stresses, things that are on their mind. I think meditation, mindfulness, and just any coping skill that anybody can take with them, I think it's something that will go with them for life. It's not something that once they leave here, they can just throw it out, but they can use it whenever and wherever they are. I am strong, I am smart. Those really stood out to me because once you inhabit those and save them every day, they stick to you. Like glue and it becomes a good habit. We have an opportunity here with cutting edge technology to bring role models right in front of our students. I've been working in immersive technology for over 10 years designing and building these tools, these these experiences. And one thing I can tell you for sure is what these tools can unlock for learning. We're just scratching the surface of what is possible.
